Black Darkness

Blurry visions inhabit tortured wistful eyes. I did
What you asked of me, purifying the remorse your voice carried
Until my cries were silent. Nights died. People lived when they melted
Together, and danced in the pools of their ancestors' souls. O’! How it breathed
Life again!
I was deceived, harvested, made a fool
And became a victim to myself. Darkness
Is all that remains. For it cannot be
Contained. Especially by you.
